5th Hole ~ View Hill
Stroke index one, “View Hill” has a narrow, undulating fairway and an unusually long and extremely narrow basin-shaped green, which is guarded by bunkers on both sides. The entire hole is flanked by gorse on the right and, as a result, the “Members Line” from the tee is to aim left and make use of the dualling with the sixth fairway. Three cleverly visible fairway bunkers on the left will have to be negotiated by longer hitters from the tee.
