Unlike many historic Scottish courses that began as exclusive clubs, Nairn Dunbar was built on a completely different foundation. ⛳
Founded in 1899 as the Nairn Artisan Golf Course, it was created by local town residents who cleared the gorse and shaped the original layout by hand. That determination defined our early years and carried membership through tough times, including World War II when members kept playing even while the adjacent beach was seeded with landmines!
