I would like to welcome you to Nairn Dunbar Golf Club and thank you for joining the club and visiting our website and this web page in particular, I hope it provides you with some useful information, if there is anything else we can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact the club office.
At Nairn Dunbar Golf Club, we pride ourselves in having the reputation of being a friendly club. We are committed to encouraging existing and new members to participate in the game of golf, and in the Club’s social activities and in all the events that help the Club grow and flourish.
This club website page is for new members to Nairn Dunbar to help them find information on and about their Golf Club. From understanding the formats of competitive play in the many competitions run by the club, as well as helping members understand the many areas of golf they may currently lack experience in, such as the technology we use to book tee times or to enrol into competitions, or to check results after playing. There is also a section on the clubhouse facilities, how to get assistance with learning the game initially or improving your existing golf game. There are also several links to the many external golfing resources availabale to assist new members in finding the information they are looking for from the wider golf world.
There are several membership categories within Nairn Dunbar Golf Club and there are several formal and informal groups playing on a regular basis. All new members are invited to enjoy the golf course and the clubhouse facilities in the ways that suit them best, lots more information on that below.
There is no specifically recognised Gents section of the club but there are formal groupings for entry to competitions based on gender and age e.g. Gents, Ladies, Seniors (Over 55’s), Juniors (Under 18’s) and mixed gender. Formal groups such as 55+ Group and the Ladies section along with the Junior section exist as golfing categories, as do informal groups such as the Wednesday Boys, the 5-bobbers (Saturdays), Tuesday Ladies and the Wednesday Ladies among others, again more information on this via the links below.
Finally, if you are ready for competition golf, members can either refer to the online list of competitions on the club website or alternatively to a hardcopy fixture list booklet available from the club office. Please note as we move through the season the latest competition information is always available online.
Click any of the links below for further Information on these topics.
