I would like to welcome you to Nairn Dunbar Golf Club and thank you for joining the club and visiting our website and this web page in particular, I hope it provides you with some useful information, if there is anything else we can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact the club office.
At Nairn Dunbar Golf Club, we pride ourselves in having the reputation of being a friendly club. We are committed to encouraging existing and new members to participate in the game of golf, and in the Club’s social activities and in all the events that help the Club grow and flourish.
I and my fellow committe members look forward to meeting all our new club members both on and off the course. We truly hope you enjoy the time you spend on the course and within the clubhouse.
General Manager
If you are a new member, on behalf of everyone at the Nairn Dunbar Golf Club, it’s my pleasure to extend a very warm welcome to you as one of our newer members. We are delighted that you have chosen to join our golfing community and look forward to seeing you out on the course very soon.
Our club prides itself on being a very friendly and inclusive place for golfers of all abilities. Whether you are an experienced player or just starting out, you’ll find a range of facilities and activities to suit your interests. We host regular competitions, casual games, and social events throughout the year—there’s always something happening both on and off the course.
If you have any questions, or if there’s anything we can do to make your time with us more enjoyable, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our club manager or office manager or indeed any of our committee members. For many golfing related enquiries you may also find our golf professional team at the shop will be able to help you. Please do not hesitate to ask any of our staff to assist you, even if they can not answer your questions directly, they will certainly let you know who best to contact and how you can get in touch with them.
As mentioned, this club website page is for new members to Nairn Dunbar to help them find information on and about their Golf Club and golf in general. From understanding the formats of competitive play in the many competitions run by the club, as well as to helping members understand the many areas of golf they may currently lack experience in, such as the technology we use to book tee times or to enrol into competitions, or to check results after playing. There is also a section on the clubhouse facilities, how to get assistance with learning the game initially or improving your existing golf game. There are also several links to the many external golfing resources available to assist new members in finding the information they are looking for from the wider golf world.
Finally, if you are ready for competition golf, members can either refer to the online list of competitions on the club website or alternatively to a hardcopy fixture list booklet available from the club office. Should you need assistance with finding a tee time grouping for a competition then either the club office or the pro shop will try and assist you. Please note, as we move through the season the latest up-to-date competition information is always available online.
Once again, welcome to the club. We wish you many enjoyable rounds of golf and numerous lasting friendships.
