Sixteen junior golfers from the Nairn and the Nairn Dunbar Golf clubs participated in a junior match between the two clubs for the Daniel Burgess Memorial Trophy. This trophy was first started in 2007 in memory of 15 year old Daniel. Having not been played for a number of years it was fantastic to see a good range of very talented young golfers once again competing against each other on the 18 hole course at the Nairn Golf Club, while Nairn finished as worthy winners, there was some truly excellent golf on show across all the matches. This annual event will be played for next year at the Nairn Dunbar Golf Club and we look forward to welcoming the juniors to what will no doubt be another hard fought match.
