Playing the Hole.

Pro Tips…

This hole, the first of the par 3s is well protected by three well positioned bunkers, two at the front of the green on the left & right, and a second one at the greenside centre right.  The safe option is to play a little longer and slightly left to avoid the second bunker on the right, although care should be taken to avoid going long as the recovery shot to the green will be made fairly difficult by the slopes that tend to challenge controlling the distance of a short pitch or chip back, although this will be influenced by the actual pin position.

Tee shots landing at the front fringes of the green near to the bunkers often gather into the sand and will often result in a challenging bunker shot to get close enough to the hole for a good chance to make the up and down.
