Pro Tips…

While this hole often plays with the prevailing wind it still presents a tough challenge with both the tee shot and the approach in to the raised green.  While there is plenty of open ground for the tee shot left and right of the left hand fairway bunkers, anything that runs left of those bunkers will need a touch of good fortune to find an acceptable lie.  Should you be unfortunate enough to find the bunkers, then you will need a good lie to get close to the putting surface.  

This green appears as a visually tight challenge, it is crucial to settle on a good yardage and rest assured that appearances can be deceptive and that this green actually offers a lot more room than appears from further down the fairway.  For those attempting their approaches from longer away, they may have to be satisfied with a short pitch or even a putt from below the front level of the green, an up and down from there will be well earned.   From whatever distance you play into the green be cautious in going beyond the green surface as trouble awaits not too far away.
